This is an adapter for the Dewalt sanders that have the Airlock dust port connector. This adapter can be used to connect the sander to Ridgid, Shop Vac, Craftsman, or Festool vacuum hoses. The perfect accessory to improve dust collection. Now with a yellow marker to show that this adapter is for a Dewalt tool. - This adapter has a TIGHT fit to the sander, so it won't come loose. GUARANTEED. -The Festool version connects to the 27 mm hose with a twist lock mechanism -The Ridgid, Shop Vac , Craftsman versions connects to the 1 1/4 (1.25), 1 7/8 (1.875) or 2 1/2 (2.5) inch hose ( this is the external diameter (OD) of the hose connector) - If you have a Dewalt tool with this port style, it is compatible.
